Happy Sunday, people!!! This time I am happy for having this fabulous blogger/traveller/makeup artist whom I have known for quite a long time. What makes me happier is that she generously shares her secret tips in staying flawless during her trip to Seoul (psst, and also some Instagrammable spots in Seoul).
She is also a blogger on The Adventworare, you might love to check her blog like I do!

Dear World,
Let me introduce myself first. I am Tiara Rezky Amalia, 27yo, raised and born in Balikpapan-Indonesia, and dreaming to see the world. I am part time working as Traveler and also a Makeup Artist. I can’t decide which one dominates my heart, I guess I equally love both of them.

Talking about travel, makeup, and also fashion, for me, they can’t be separated. One of the must do things before I travel is making the outfit list. I thoroughly make a list from the departure day until I arrive in Indonesia. My outfit list includes headscarf, necklace/accessorize, inner wear, outer wear, bottom, and foot wear that I used, based on the weather and what I planned to do on that day. Yeah, I’m a bit too much about this thing. Needless to mention, my makeup also match my outfit.

Now, I’m talking about my travel experience in South Korea, one of the fashionably cute countries which I love the most. I made a travel plan for this trip like I always do, but I am more flexible with the time and which places that I visit. So, I just had a big idea of where to go on the first day in Seoul until the 6th day, it helps me to decide which outfit that I will use for that day. I just prepared 4 headscarves, 3 trousers, 1 tights, 1 mini skirt, 2 inner t-shirts, 1 jacket, 1 long outer, 2 mini dresses, 3 necklaces, 3 sneakers, 1 flat shoes, 1 backpack, and 1 canvas bag (Oh, why after I breakdown the list they become too much….LOL). Just FYI, all packed in one cabin size luggage.
My Essential Makeup Kit for Travel
For makeup, I just brought my essential things. The list with the reason is described below:
- Moisturizer with SPF 30 (minimum)
Seoul was so breezy for me and my skin, also sunny. The moisturizer helps my skin to stay moist and not (kopek-kopek). The SPF protects my skin from the sunlight. This item IS A MUST! I always use Nu Skin Nutricentials Moisture Restore Day lotion.
- CC Cream
When travel, you don’t have an excessive time for makeup, CC cream will helps to cover the imperfection of skin in seconds. It contains foundation, concealer, also color corrector. One for all!! If you found there is an area that’s not perfectly covered, just tap-tap another layer of CC cream at that area. Voila! The flawless skin for strolling around the city is here.
- Eyebrow Pencil/Crayon
I have the thick eyebrows which are super messy if I don’t take care of them. So yeah, I can’t live without eyebrow pencil/crayon. I used to use eyebrow crayon which already complete with the brush. It’s perfect for travel.
- Eyelash Curler
I have the long eyelashes but not curly, so I also bring this item every time I travel. I use it before I apply the mascara.
- Mascara
I have adoration for “They’re Real! Mascara” by Benefit. The brush, the liquid, the result just perfect for me. There’s a travel size bottle of this Mascara so yeah, I bring her wherever I go.
- Lipstick
I am a lipstick addict. I also found lipstick is so magical. It can change the whole aura of the face. I always bring 3 or 4 lipsticks when I travel. The must bring colors are red, hot pink, maroon/brown, and mauve. That mauve lipstick liquid also can be used as blush on!
- Water Spray
When I travel, I used to forget to drink or eat (except street food) because I was too immersed about the city. This water spray is so helpful to keep my skin from dehydration and dryness. I found Evian and Nu Skin NaPCA are my perfect travel companion.
Well, for me, traveling is one way to express myself and excel my creativity. How about you, guys?
With Love,
Tiara
