When I saw her playing around, I wondered: when was the last time I had such a big chunk of courage and curiosity at the same time?

I’m 28 and Embracing My (Soon) New Long-Term Career
How Did It Feel to Return to My Second “Home” Called Porto?
I AM HOME!!!
—
At the beginning of June, nothing excited me most than getting my Portugal VISA on hand. I had a mixed feeling towards this trip to Porto compared to one I had in 2012. I was married and I had to leave my husband for around 10 days. On the other side, I was THAAAAT excited to reunite with my friends and colleagues in Porto. Barbara, Silvia, and Thiago, my bestfriends from Portugal & Brazil, had been following updates on my flights while at that time, I hadn’t had any fixed dates. We were about to meet!

When Mrs. OMG! is No Longer a Miss
Six weeks have passed since the incredible April 29th, 2017 — was saved on my calendar as my wedding day. My husband, my family, & I didn’t use any Javanese calculation in deciding the date. We planned it based on several considerations, including how far do we were ready to get married and most importantly, the venue’s availability.
How We Met Each Other
Both my husband & I didn’t post any picture of us on social media until a few days before our wedding day. Thus, several friends texted me in person when they knew I was about to marry my husband.

NABS X @ettasekar: POP! in Singapore
Shopping, this might be the first word adhered to Singapore. But I believe the country could offer me more than just shopping fiesta. I was indeed lucky to collaborate with an artsy travelmate namely @ettasekar, who surprisingly had the same taste with me regarding Singapore. It has been almost a month of experiencing Fujifilm X-T10 with my hands. Going directly to the street to capture BDG citizens’ activities was the best way to know more about what X-T10 could offer me.
What did I get for Myself to Celebrate the Oct 25th
You are used to get tons of birthday presents from your friends. But when was the last time you gave yourself a birthday present?
I am indeed very lucky. I have my families and friends around on my special day —Well, actually I don’t want to call it a special day since it reminds me if I am getting a year older. Their presence are more than enough and sometimes, having them tricked or surprised me adds a fireworks into my day.
For the-N times Oct 25th this year, I wanted to give myself a present. A memorable one. Therefore, I started saving some bucks for that present.
A Huge Tourist Trap Called Malacca, yet an Interesting One
Reddish buildings with a familiar Portuguese architecture caught my attention when I was scrolling my social media feed. I clicked on the location my friend checked in to then I found out about Malacca, declared as UNESCO World Heritage in 2008.
Photo Essay: A Warm Afternoon at a Local Market in Toraja
Heaven. At least for a woman who loves to cook like me. I had been eating meat the whole days and I was craving for my veggies!
If you asked me where was my favourite place to interact with locals every time I travelled? I would have answer: local market.
Pak Hendrik brought us to eat Toraja’s Chicken Lawak at a Halal restaurant in front of a market. I was fascinated by how calm the angkot (public car) station was when he told me, “You’ll find the best coffee inside that market — Pasar Rebo.” He pointed to a market next to that station.
